Presenting over 50 classes a week in Nia, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Belly Dance, Qigong, African Dance, HoopDance, Zumba, Poi Spinning, Hand Drumming as well as Massage Therapy, Rolfing, Reiki and special concerts with unique instruments, it is a cutting edge studio unlike any other in Texas. The Synergy Studio is educating and motivating people from San Antonio as well as travelers from all over the United States. The studio was located for 5 years in a small space on McCullough Avenue. With increased interest and class size, it became necessary to expand. Since opening in the new location at The Pearl Brewery in October 2007, The Synergy Studio has tripled its offerings, and hosted workshops almost every weekend, in addition to weekly classes. Like the building itself, the studio fosters sustainability, and inspires creativity, clarity and community. The Synergy Studio is known as a leader in the field of movement education. A Nia training center with two resident Nia trainers, the studio hosts multiple intensives a year, as well as numerous weekend playshops. It is also home to the Esther Vexler Yoga School, a Yoga Alliance certified 8 month program for aspiring yoga teachers. Attracting masters in their field, The Synergy Studio is putting San Antonio on the map in the movement, health, and wellness industry.
